Open Question: What’s wrong with government jobs?
It’’s like any spending program that creates government jobs is automatically a bad thing. Historically government jobs have been good jobs. Unionized, benefits, job security, etc. I mean that’s changing lately but that’s happening to all jobs in the private and public sectors. Wall street needs money for their casino we can’t afford things like wages infrastructure and entitlement programs.

And in regards to the jobs “costing taxpayers money” what better way to spend public money than investing it directly back into the economy by employing Americans?? Besides it’s not just a cost it’s an investment. Lets use cops for an example. Sure cops cost taxpayers money but it’s not just a cost it’s an investment and the return is a safer community. The FDA costs taxpayers money but the return is safer food and drugs. Schools cost taxpayers money but the return is a more successful future for our society.

I mean direct government action to create jobs vs throwing money at wall street and waiting for them to create jobs, which is a more effective approach??
If you measure revenue ONLY in dollars then yes you are correct but if you measure revenue in real life tangible things then you are wrong. A safer community and safer food and drugs could be considered revenue too.
