Open Question: Investing in my First 401K, I’m 25 and completely new to this. What’s the best mix?
I just started a new job and my company matches dollar for dollar 401k up to the first 4%. I’m currently making about 39000, and I’ll be 25 in about 3 weeks. I wanted to start taking advantage of my 401K however, I Don’t KNOW ANYTHING, about these funds & bonds. I do know they’re hosted by Vanguard and here’s my list of options:

- Vanguard Morgan Growth Fund
- Vanguard Wellesley Income Fund
- Vanguard Prime Money Market Fund
- Vanguard Short-Term Investment-Grade Fund
- Vanguard 500 Index Fund

What funds should I choose and how much %? I’m not afraid of too much risk while im young, but later I want something more stable. How much should I contribute and to which funds?
