Open Question: Do I have a legitimate case to sue this company?
I want to sue NCO financial company because one of their employees stole my identity. After many harrassing phone calls, one of the employees got on the phone with me and said that I was a bad mother for having a debt in collections and so forth. I found out that this woman stole my identity, opened accounts, and made rentals in my name. She even got a license with her face and my info. on it! They haven’t arrested her yet because the person that she is with has a fraud identity as well and they won’t pick her up until they know more about him as well. I have to wait to hear from the state she’s in to get any further information. Anyways, do I have a case to sue them? I got a letter from a collection agency just yesterday about the bill, but I feel like I shouldn’t have to pay it because this woman messed up my credit and is making more bills for me. Should I have to pay the bill and is my case legitimate? I called a lot of lawyers and no one wants to represent me unless I lost out on an extreme amount of money. What should I do?

Open Question: thank you taxpayers for saving my foreclosure home….?
my initial mortgage was 120k, I decided to refi and take out 100k 3 years ago to pay off my both of my new cars ( this alone was almost 50k) I added a pool ( 25K ) and also decided to pay off my credit card debt (15K ) I have now spend the last 10K. so I’m broke now. BUT omaba said that you taxpayer are willing to help me out. I decided to let my house payment go for a few month so the foreclosure paperwork kicks in. My mortgage now is saying that I can get help and that my principle of my mortgage will go down again to 105k and my payments will decrease to a level where I can pay. Once again.THANKS YOU TAXPAYERS FOR ALL YOUR SUPPORT.

( THIS IS ACTUALLY A TRUE STORY. I KNOW SOMEONE WHO IS ACTUALLY DOING THIS. THIS FAMILY IS TAKING FULL ADVANTAGE OF THIS SITUATION. FAIR OR NOT, MANY PEOPLE ARE GOING TO TAKE FULL USE OF THIS OPPORTUNITY. SHOULD I DO THE SAME? )

THANKS OBAMA FOR F*CKING UP MY COUNTRY.

Open Question: Where do I go from here?
I have been married to my husband for 5 years who is a uk national.. (im canadian) We have a 3 year old daughter and I am also 5 months pregnant with our second child. We have a house in Canada and we were trying to get him to immigrate over to canada last year and in October things slowly fell apart with that and so I suggested that we go back to the UK for a little while to pay off our debt we have out there. We were told by his parents that things are good out there and that he even there and that he even had jobs waiting for him. But once we got there, things were all VERY different. There is a Global recession and there were no jobs for him. We were staying with his parents which is stressful enough in itself. There wasnt any money coming in at all so there was no chance for us to get our own place. We fought alot and even though things werent great, I decided that I would get my immigration sorted out to be able to stay in the uk. So I had to come back to Canada to do just that. I had no intensions of staying out here. But I also started to think how things are NOT working out in the UK also. So I devised a plan. We could go back to our house and I could start his immigration to come back. We dont own anything on the house. So we wouldnt have to make any house payments. We would have just basic living costs and also we would have to send money back to the UK every month to pay off the debt. I worked out the monthly amount we would need to do this and compaed it to what we would need out in the UK as well. And we would need LESS to live out here. So I thought that this was a fantastic idea and told him right away. He doesnt see it the same way I do. I have tried everything to try and make him see that this is a logical plan. I told him that his daughter and I wont be coming back to the UK to live with his parents. I cant put myself, my daughter and my unborn baby through all the unnecessary stress. So now the he thinks that I had no intensions of coming back to the UK in the first place and has also threw around the word divorce. SIGH! I still Love him very much and I dont want to get a divorce. All I want is for him to see that I am doing the best for US as a family. I have decided that it would be best for myself and daughter that I go back to our house and live to the best of my ability. Where do I go from here? Do I think of this as a type of separation? Or what? So confused what is meant to happen next.
I also went out of my way to find out that I am able to get his qualifications reconized out here so that he would find a better job. But he still doesnt see what I am doing is for ALL of us not just for me.
