Open Question: How should a 17-year-old budget their money? specifically?
I tend to go through my money pretty fast, no matter how hard I try not to :P So I need ideas of how to budget my money. I’m gonna get a check for 300-some next week.

Financial experts, does this look good:

I tithe 10% of my money.
save 40% for gas.
save 10% for college.
and the rest for personal things/spending money?
Jarrett, I live in rural Maine, there are no alternative modes of transportation…I go to a private school so I have to drive myself both ways every day. And no, my parents don’t pay for all my clothes..so yes I do need to save a lot for gas.
